Mr Puri started his ophthalmic training in 1990 in India and commenced training in the UK in 1996. He has a special interest in Retinal diseases and acquired advanced subspecialty training (ASTO) in this area.
In addition to provision of general services in ophthalmology, which include management of blepharitis, dry eye, allergic eye disease and inflammatory ocular surface problems, he also performs cataract removal including the latest micro incision cataract surgery (MICS) and the insertion of premium lenses.
He has special interest in retinal disease and provides services to diabetic patients, including screening, laser treatment and treatment with the new Anti VEGF agents.
He leads the macular degeneration service in Harley Streets and can help patients with both dry and wet macular degeneration.
Mr Puri is also involved in the management of glaucoma patients and provides specialist services for patients with Retinal Vascular Disorders.
