I graduated in India and came to UK for higher medical training. I completed rheumatology training from the North West deanery in 2006. I have worked as consultant rheumatologist since. My NHS work base is Queen’s Hospital, Burton on Trent, where I am the clinical lead for rheumatology. I provide private consultation work from and Burton Private Health, Harley Streets Private Health Care and Hospital and Nuffield Health, Harley Streets.
I have special interest in inflammatory arthritis, ankylosing spondylitis and osteoporosis. I have experience in managing other aspects of rheumatological condition which includes complex auto-immune conditions like SLE, Sjogren’s syndrome, myositis and vasculitis. I also provide assessment and advise for the management of non-inflammatory conditions like tendonitis, soft tissue rheumatism and fibromyalgia spectrum disorders.
