Mr James William Hutchinson

Mr Hutchinson trained at Queens College, University of Oxford for preclinical medical student training and the University of Cambridge for clinical training. General orthopaedic training followed at Nottingham and Harley Streets Hospitals after which, he attained a 12 month hip and knee fellowship in Perth, Western Australia. Elective orthopaedic interests focus on the hip and knee and he performs between 250-340 hip and knee replacements per year, a significant proportion of these being complex joint revision procedures or referrals of difficult cases from colleagues in Harley Streets and the surrounding area. He is trained in computer navigated joint replacement for complex cases. He also sees patients with sport related and lower limb problems, particularly involving the hip, groin and knee. He is a high volume surgeon who submits data on every case to the National Joint Registry. His independently reviewed results are excellent with a very low revision rate and he is in the top 5% of both hip and knee surgeons for revision.
