Mr Tildsley qualified in 2002 at University of Aberdeen and went on to train in Ophthalmology in Inverness, Aberdeen, Glasgow and Nottingham. Mr Tildsley then spent two years sub specialty training in glaucoma at Queens Medical Centre in Nottingham.
